Welcome to the astrophotography branch of my web site. I am currently involved with several types of photography all of which can be seen on the parent site Dark Atmospheres Photography. This area is dedicated to the art of astronomy related photography which many times requires vastly different equipment, techniques and time frames over traditional photography. The photos displayed on this site are the result of many painstaking hours of work needed to capture the delicate light of night in a way that most intensely accentuates its beauty and intrigue.

Located in Lamy, NM just about every clear night will find me with camera shutters open, whether using a DSLR or telescopes in the back yard observatory. Thank you for stopping by and viewing these photos. They are my interpretation of the night sky and hopefully will even show you something in light or even darkness you may not have seen before.
